Here's why it's a mixed review
The hotel boasts a wonderful location with charming shops and mini-golf on site. Breakfast options were vast and satisfying, exceeding expectations. The decor is lovely.
The pool was too cold for comfort. One of the staff members was dismissive, detracting from the otherwise pleasant experience. It didn't meet the warmth I anticipated from a family-run hotel.

We didn't have time, so we also would stay here again. The hotel was a great place for enjoying a nice area, so close to Amish Country and Berlin and shops. The room was perfect with super soft beds, had wake-up service, that's cool.

We had such a fun time at the family-friendly variety show at the Amish Country Theater, just a short walk from our room. The kids loved the hilarious performances, and it made for a perfect evening without needing to drive anywhere.
My kids wished the pool area had more activities for teens.

The fantastic spa tub that provided a perfect end to my busy days of exploring the beautiful parks and landmarks nearby, including a good visit to the German Culture Museum just around 5 km away and a quick stroll to Schrock's Heritage Village which is less than a 5-minute walk. It would be better if there were more dining options open later in the evening.

Perfect place for a family trip
I gotta say, breakfast was a game changer. They had so many options, like pancakes and sausage links that were cooked just right! And the staff, man, they were always on the ball, helping out whenever needed.
It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Express check-in was seamless, and our room was impressively large with fine views of the pond and hills. The breakfast was so nice with a variety of hot and cold options, including scrambled eggs and biscuits with gravy. The attached theater was a major convenience for our entertainment plans. The only downside was a bit of noise from the beds, but it didn't significantly detract from our comfort.
